Intimate wedding photography at Mumbles Cricket Club.

Outside All Saints church in Mubles, sat the the back of the top deck of a double decker red London bus, a bride and groom sit cuddled up, looking at each other smiling. The groom is in a blue tweed suit and the bride holding her flowers.

Amy & James – A colourful, crane-filled celebration in Mumbles
Amy & James tied the knot at the beautiful All Saints Church in Mumbles, Swansea – a classic coastal spot with bags of charm. After the ceremony, they headed just around the corner to Mumbles Cricket Club for their laid-back reception (fun fact: it's next door to the Zeta-Jones residence – not that we spotted Catherine...).

Their wedding vibe? Simple, joyful, and totally fuss-free, but bursting with personal touches. The standout decor? Thousands of hand-folded, multi-coloured origami cranes – a nod to a Japanese tradition that says creating over 1,000 cranes brings blessings of a long and happy marriage. We love that the earliest record of this tradition dates all the way back to 1797 – and it felt just as meaningful in 2025.

Guests were greeted with trays of canapés and, to kick things off properly, a little lemon salt and a tequila shot. That combo went down very well.

The newlyweds arrived at the reception in serious style, aboard a vintage red double-decker bus from the Swansea Bus Museum – and when the Welsh weather turned a bit drizzly, it doubled up as the perfect backdrop for some fun, spontaneous couples’ shots. Rain? What rain?
